Site Overview
Welcome to the City of Wichita's Web site. The site includes numerous documents and interactive applications with information from City Departments, City services, neighborhood organizations and much more. We've organized the most relevant information into several sections on the home page. The obvious sections are; home, business, search, citizen, visitor, quick links, e-services, and contact us.
In addition to the navigation bar at the top of the screen, service links on the left side and text links below are provided so you can click to easily move to the start of the main sections of the City services directory.
There are links to documents on other sites in addition to the numerous documents on available from the City of Wichita. We have identified these links with this icon  to the left of the link. Please keep in mind these sites typically will not provide links in their pages to get back to the City of Wichita. You will have to use your back button (history feature) of your Web browser to return to the City of Wichita site.

Site Structure
We have designed this site so that you can easily and quickly (fewest clicks possible) find the information you are looking for. There are a number of ways to locate the information that you are looking for on the City of Wichita Web site. These include:

  We have found that because of the world-wide reach of the web, many of those who come here do not live in Wichita but are planning to visit sometime in the future. As a result, we have created the Visitor Connection with links to information that visitors may have particular interest in.

  This link provides information on community activities and non-profit businesses that operate in and around the Wichita area.

• Contact Us
  To provide a contact page with surveys, feedback, and e-mail links, phone, and fax numbers.

  A listing of major categories of the city of Wichita web site. If you are unsure of what link you are looking for this might be a great place to start.

• e-Gov Services
  This area contains a listing of the current services available over the internet from the City of Wichita. Job postings, Court services and numerous pages that provide read access to City data. This is where we will be bringing you online interactive information accessing up-to-the-minute data from the City. You will also be able to interact and conduct business from this selection.

• e-Gov business
  Links are dynamic business activities being conducted by the City. This includes Electronic Procurement and any conferences/courses being held. All new transaction-based pages will be listed here.

• City Offices
  Links to all City departments

• Hot topics
  Press releases, speeches, and information relating to all City activities can be found here.

• Help
  This section, created to provide you with some fundamental tips on using the City's web site and various links for feedback and input.

• Forms
  Many City departments and elected officials have included access to forms on their websites. In most cases, these forms will require you to have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view these forms. You can download the free Adobe Acrobat reader by clicking here.
