The Wichita Airport Authority and the Mid-America Minority Business Development Council (MAMBDC) have scheduled an outreach event for minority- and women-owned firms seeking work at the airport. The Airport Authority Minority Outreach Meet & Greet Event is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19 at Wichita Airport Hilton, 2098 S. Airport Road.
This networking event targets minority firms for contracting opportunities on upcoming Airport projects. Prime contractors, women-owned businesses and emerging and minority business enterprises are encouraged to attend. Online registration is available at: www.mambdc.org. Registration deadline: Monday, Nov. 16.
A formal presentation on the upcoming airport terminal and other construction projects will begin at 6 p.m. Light snacks and refreshments will also be provided.
