The City of Wichita is hosting its annual TreeCycle again this year. Citizens are encouraged to dispose of their live cut Christmas trees at one of the following seven locations anytime between now and Saturday, January 22:
Only live-cut Christmas trees (with NO ornaments or lights) will be accepted at the drop off centers. Citizens who have broken tree branches as a result of the recent snowstorm can take the debris to the Brooks Landfill for free until the end of the year.
Last year, more than 11,000 citizens participated in TreeCycle. The City hopes participation will increase significantly this year.
