The City of Wichita is conducting an update to the "1995 Northwest Wichita Traffic Congestion Relief" study. A public meeting will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 20, 2000 to involve the public early in the study process. A public meeting will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 20, 2000 to involve the public early in the study process. The meeting will be held at: Country Acres Baptist Church7315 W 13th Street(Southwest corner of 13th and Ridge) A presentation will be made reviewing the 1995 study, changes in development in the West and Northwest areas of Wichita, new transportation projects completed since 1995, and a review of previous alternatives and potential new alternatives for additional Floodway crossing(s). The study is in the initial stages at this time. Another public meeting will be scheduled in late Summer to present the findings and conclusions of the study update. Following the presentation, the public will have opportunity to review available information at "Exhibit Stations".
