The Wichita Farm and Art Market is opening its annual Outdoor Market this Saturday, May 20, 2000. About 80 vendors will be selling everything from arts and crafts to fruits and flowers.
The Outdoor Market is a Wichita tradition for this community. It is a great place for citizens to find unique crafts, enjoy musicians, dancers and other performers, and visit with friends and family members. Several thousand people usually attend the market every Saturday.
Each Week, the Outdoor Market will be a different experience. While several vendors will regularly participate in the Outdoor Market, others will only participate a few weeks. And some of the entertainment and food vendors will rotate, as well. Greater participation by Kansas Grown vendors is also expected.
There is no admission charge for the Outdoor Market.
The Outdoor Market will be open from 7 AM–1 PM each Saturday from May 20-October 28.
