Ritchie Paving, the City’s contractor for the Museum Boulevard project, has begun the reconstruction of Stackman, from Central to Pine, and Sim Park Drive west of Stackman. The intersection of Stackman and Central is included in this project, and the contractor will need to close Stackman, between Central and Sim Park Drive, during this part of the project.
The work will require closure of Stackman from approximately 8:30 AM, Monday, August 6, 2001, through Saturday, September 1, 2001. This four-week closure will allow the contractor to complete the Stackman/Central intersection area.
Traffic on Central will continue to be carried through the intersection in one lane each direction (as it is currently). However, traffic will not be able to enter or exit Riverside using Stackman. During the intersection closure, this traffic will be detoured using Central and Nims streets.
