A 60-foot bronze, illuminated flagpole will be donated to the City of Wichita in honor of the victims and heroes of the September 11 terrorist attacks. The flagpole was a gift from the "Women of Wichita," a philanthropic organization founded by Helen Galloway. An American flag will fly from the flagpole. The flagpole dedication will be at 2 PM, on Sunday. Mayor Bob Knight will speak during the ceremony. The flagpole is located at the turnaround on the east side of Century II at English Street.
