The 2002 Vehicle and Equipment Auction will take place at 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, at 1601 S. McLean Boulevard. The public will be able to bid on cars, pickups, vans, mowers, tractors, trailers, compressors and other miscellaneous equipment. Vehicles and equipment will be available for inspection by the public at 7:30 a.m. All vehicles and equipment will be offered on an “as is” and “where is” basis without warranty or guarantee of any kind, either expressed or implied. Anyone wishing to bid at this auction must register at 1801 S. McLean Blvd. to obtain a card with a bidder number. Registration will start at 7:30 a.m., on the date of the sale. Cash, cashiers check, company or personal check with proper identification will be accepted. Buyers are responsible for the removal of all items purchased. Items must be removed after the sale and prior to 1 p.m., on Oct. 5. The Auction List is available at the Express Station on the First Floor, City Hall, the Central Maintenance Facility at 1801 S. McLean Blvd., or on the City’s web site, www.wichita.gov.
