The City of Wichita is the proud co-sponsor of the Wichita Black Arts Festival's 5th Annual Arts in the Park series. The series begins Sunday, July 13 and will take place from 6-9 p.m., every other Sunday through the end of August, at Grove Park, 27th and Grove. The event will feature the talents of several local artists, including: Sunday, July 13 - Sterling Gray & Base 3x Sunday, July 27 - Willie Wactor & Urban Vibe Sunday, August 10 - Jazz and Ballad Songstress, Dee Dee Beavers and Friends Sunday, August 24 - The African Drum Corps of the Boys & Girls Club and Word Warriors Poetry Circle.
