Regional photographers – both professional and amateur – are the focus of the next exhibit at CityArts. The CityArts ProAm Photography Show is an annual event featuring a variety of photographic media: traditional - such as black and white, SX-70, and silver gelatin prints; digital, and manipulated works. The exhibit opens Jan. 31 and runs through Feb. 22. A free opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 31 at CityArts. In addition to professional, high-end equipment, the featured photographers are using everyday cameras such as Polaroids, disposables, and even a pin-hole camera. Photographers whose work will be on display include Fernando Salazar, Mike Hutmacher, Ken Engquist, Nickie Siegel Keith, Howard Eastwood, Dale Strattman, Mary Ann Endicott, Michael Pointer, Adam Scott, Nona Clark, and Ron Jones.
