Botanica will offer a reduced admission price of $3 per person on Saturday, March 15, to celebrate the 2003 season opening. (All members admitted free of charge). Over one hundred thousand spring bulbs will begin to put on their annual display at this event to celebrate the greening of the gardens and St. Patrick’s Day.
Chris Cakes will serve sausage and green pancakes from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Breakfast is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children. Truffles Catering will serve a traditional Irish lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Cost is $7 per person for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and under. Ironwood will present musical entertainment throughout the day.
The season opening marks the first weekend that Botanica begins regular weekend hours in 2003. Effective March 15, Botanica will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and on Sundays from 1-5 p.m. Regular admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, 62 years of age and older, and $3 for youth. A special $12 family rate admits two parents and their children under 21. Weekend hours will remain in effect through Nov. 23.
