City Council Member Bill Gale and Fire Chief Larry Garcia will cut the ribbon, Saturday, March 29, at 9 a.m. to dedicate the opening of one of Wichita’s newest fire stations, #4, on the city’s southwest side. Located at Irving and Meridian, the ribbon cutting ceremony will be followed by an open house. Here are some facts about the new fire station: Location: 2423 W.
