Missed your calling for the NBA or the WNBA? Well, you can practice your jump shot during the 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament during the Wichita River Festival, May 9-17. The event is sponsored by the City of Wichita Park & Recreation Department, Sunflower Bank, and the Wichita Greenways Park Alliance. There are various divisions and entry fees. Division include: Middle School Boys/Girls (6th, 7th, and 8th grades) - $50 per team; High School Boys/Girls (9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades) - $50 per team; Open Men's/Women's (19 years and up) - $80 per team; Couch Potato Men's (40 years and up) - $80 per team; and Corporate Division - $100 per team. The deadline to register is 5 p.m., May 1, 2003. All games will be played indoors with championship games to be announced.
