The National Tree Trust has awarded the City of Wichita with a 2003 Community Tree Planting Grant. This grant of 2,500 tree seedlings will be used as part of a community reforestation effort in the City of Wichita. All variety of trees offered are on the preferred species list for South Central Kansas. ONE DAY ONLY This Friday, May 2, 2003, seedlings will be available free to the public at the following locations: City Hall Lobby455 N. Main9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. North Branch YMCA3330 N.
