The Wichita Farm and Art Market will be off to a strong start with more than 40 vendors when the 2003 season debuts on May 24. Located in Old Town at 835 E. First Street – between Mosley and Rock Island, the market will be open from 7 a.m. to noon every Saturday through Oct. 25. A Wichita tradition, the market offers fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, flowers, jewelry, handmade items, potted plants, furniture, clothing and many other items. This high-energy environment provides a fun shopping experience for visitors of all ages, from Wichita and the surrounding area. “This year’s market will be better than ever,” said Market Coordinator Connie Clark.
