The western end of the West Kellogg freeway project is complete. On Tuesday, July 13, traffic will be rerouted to the freeway bridges over Maize Road. Traffic will remain on the frontage roads at Tyler Road. Motorists should pay close attention to all traffic control measures in this section of the construction zone.
Once the Kellogg traffic is shifted to this section of freeway, work will begin under the bridges at Maize Road. Southbound Maize Road traffic will be provided one through lane and a dedicated left turn lane. Northbound traffic will be provided one lane.
Motorists on Kellogg will also encounter a new traffic signal at 111th Street West. This traffic signal has been installed to provide safe access to Kellogg for Cotillion traffic. The signal will be traffic-activated and programmed to minimize impact on Kellogg traffic. This signal will be removed when the next phase of Kellogg to the west is constructed in the future.
