Q. When will my debris be picked up?
A. It is difficult to predict a schedule and the City of Wichita will update the media on the progress.
Q. What will the crews be picking up?
A. All storm related tree limbs that have stacked near the curb. It does not need to be cut any minimum length, nor stacked any special way. Private brush WILL be picked up if you have it stacked near the curb.
Q. Crews have already picked up limbs in my neighborhood. Will they be back?
A. Yes. Crews will cover the city twice.
Q. I have broken and hanging limbs that are over the street, over the sidewalk.
A. This condition exists in hundreds of locations all over the city. Rather than moving equipment and crews from address to address, crews are working in a grid pattern to take care of these hazard limbs. We are not taking locations unless a extreme safety issue for traffic exists.
Q. My tree is so badly damaged it is dangerous and needs to be removed.
A. Inspectors are going throughout the city identifying those trees. This should be completed by the end of February. If you believe your tree should be removed, then the City of Wichita will take the information and have an inspector check later this year.
Q. Are the dump/burn sites still open?
A. Yes, All the dump/burn sites will be open from 8 AM - 4 PM through January 30th.

Q. My tree needs to be cleaned up and pruned after the ice storm.
