Fly Delta Non-stop to Salt Lake City Beginning January 31, 2005!

Delta connection carrier, SkyWest Airlines, will provide three daily flights to Salt Lake City beginning January 31, 2005 on 50-seat Canadair regional jets. Salt Lake City is one of Delta's hubs and offers 379 daily flights to 80 non-stop destinations worldwide.

This new service comes to Wichita as part of Delta's restructuring plans. Delta discontinued all service to Dallas last December. Other changes to Delta service at Mid-Continent Airport effective January 31 include the addition of a sixth daily flight to Atlanta and the addition of a third daily flight to Cincinnati. This brings Delta's total daily flights departing Wichita to 12.

"Delta is a very important partner in the Wichita air service mix. The addition of Salt Lake City provides area travelers a nice westbound option," said Tom Nolan, Interim Director of Airports.
