Channel 7 Program Schedule

A new program is now on the City government cable Channel 7 to showcase the Housing and Community Services Department and a key program it offers. The video is called “Family Self Sufficiency” which focuses on a Section 8 program. The video reviews the program, past accomplishments and recognizes organizations that support the program. The program is approximately fifteen minutes in length.
The current schedule for “Family Self Sufficiency” is as follows:
- Every Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday
- At the following times: 7:30 AM, 8:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 5:30 PM,
6:30 PM and 8 PM
Tune in for “Driving Tips” where the Wichita Police Department demonstrate good driving skills airing at:
- Daily, Monday through Friday at 8 AM, 10 AM (except Tuesday), 2 PM and 4 PM.
- Also on Monday at 6 and 10 PM, and Friday at 10 PM.
The Winter edition of “City Improvements” highlighting the Water & Sewer Department and several projects recently completed by the department is still running at the following times:
- Monday, Thursday: 7 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM, 5 PM, 7 PM, 9 PM, 11 PM
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 7 AM, 12 PM, 3 PM, 5 PM, 10 PM
- Saturdays & Sundays: 7 AM, 9 AM, 2PM, 5 PM, 7 PM, 9 PM
Continue to tune in to see City Council and County Commission meetings at these times:
- City Council Meetings are LIVE on Tuesdays at 9 AM, then re-broadcasted on Tuesdays and Fridays at 6 PM and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 PM.
- County Commission Meetings are re-broadcasted on Wednesdays at 6 PM and Saturdays and Sundays at 10 AM.
