Based on the current forecasts for Tropical Storm Ernesto by the National Hurricane Center, AirTran Airways has cancelled a number of flights into and out of the following cities: Fort Lauderdale, Fla., West Palm Beach, Fla., and, Miami, Fla., today and tomorrow.  Depending on the path of the storm, flights to Ft. Myers, Fla., and Grand Bahama Island may be affected as well.

Passengers scheduled to fly into or out of these cities through August 30, 2006, are being offered the opportunity to alter their flight itineraries without change fees or fare adjustments.  Every effort is being made by AirTran Airways to notify the affected passengers of these flight
cancellations and to make alternate travel arrangements.

Passengers wishing to check on their flight status may do so by checking online at http://www.airtran.com/ on the home page under "Flight Status" or they may call the airline at 1-800-AIRTRAN.
