The Wichita Art Museum has a program that has been added to the line up for City 7. The program, named “Look What’s Hanging at WAM,” is a spin off from WAM’s current marketing campaign, “Look Who’s Hanging at WAM.” The program highlights current exhibitions on display at the museum, and gives the viewer a tour of one of the Wichita’s greatest cultural attractions. Featured in this edition are four exhibitions: Garbo’s Garbos, Art Deco Posters by Cassandre from the Bob & Maura Geist Collection, Art Glass of the Garbo Era, Sue Jean Covacevich, Pioneer Kansas Abstract Artist and Across America: Selections from the Permanent Collection of the Wichita Art Museum. The program airs daily 6 AM, 1 PM, 4 PM, 9 PM and 11 PM. The “Wichita Welcome Channel” continues to air at the half hour of every hour (such as at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and so on). The “Wichita Welcome Channel” takes viewers on a visual tour through Wichita highlights such as attractions, sports, shopping, music, arts, dining, events and more. At the end of the program, a calendar of events will be updated weekly to reflect new events added, and take off events that have already happened. The program length is 30 minutes.
