Food Drive A Success! The Wichita Ice Center is pleased to report that the First Annual Skate for Food Drive exceeded all expectations. Kansas Food Bank plans to pick up the contributions at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 16 at the Wichita Ice Center. During the Food Drive, customers brought canned food items to benefit the Kansas Food Bank. For the contribution, the customer received free skate rental, free pop and free popcorn. The Ice Center has collected 5 large boxes of canned food weighing over 200 pounds. New Skating Season Begins A new season of our Learn-to-Skate and Learn-to-Play programs just began. Lessons are available for ages 2 ½ to 90. In addition, our new parent and tot classes also available.
