A new tipping fee at Brooks Landfill will take effect Aug. 1, 2007. The tipping fee increases from $20 per ton to $24 per ton. The tipping fee will increase an additional $1 per ton, to $25 per ton, effective Jan. 1, 2008. Landfill operator, Herzog Environmental, will notify landfill customers of the change before August 1.
