Wichita, KS / April 30, 2007 – The Wichita Ice Center, Wichita’s community ice rink, is pleased to announce the 11th Annual Kansas Cup Hockey Tournament May 11-13 and May 18 – 20.
Games times will be Friday from 6:00 pm-11:30 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am-10:00 pm, and Sunday from 10:30 am-12:30 pm. The schedule is set up according to divisions.May 11-13Recreational DivisionOld-Timer’s Division May 18-20Competitive DivisionIntermediate DivisionNovice Division In the Competitive Division, there are former NHL and CHL players including former Wichita Thunder players Tom Roulston, Mark Bourgeois, Rob Weingartner, Greg Neish, and Sean O’Reilly. 38 teams have signed up already. It’s one of the premier tournaments in the country attracting teams from all over. Teams from Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas, Illinois, and Iowa attend every year. Admission to spectators is free. Call 337-9199 for more information.
