Special meetings, media interviews and public forums scheduled Following is information regarding several public and special meetings related to Wichita City Manager candidates. SPECIAL MEETINGSWichita City Manager candidates are scheduled to participate in special meetings with the Wichita City Council and the Citizens Search Committee today, Thursday and Friday at City Hall, 455 N. Main or at Century II. The special meetings will be held so that the Council and Citizens Committee can go into executive session for candidate interviews. Candidates will meet with the Council in separate one-hour interviews from 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursday and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday in the first floor Council Conference Room. Candidates will meet with the Citizens Committee in separate one-hour interviews from 1 to 4 p.m. today in the 10th Floor MAPD Conference Room at City Hall and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday in Room 101 at Century II. The City Council is scheduled to hold a special meeting to go into executive session at 3 p.m. on Friday in the Council Conference Room at City Hall. MEDIA INTERVIEWSMedia are invited to interview candidates today and Thursday in the first-floor City7 studio at City Hall, 455 N. Main. Three candidates will grant separate 15-minute interviews today and two candidates will grant separate 15-minute interviews on Thursday. Journalists are encouraged to arrive early due to tight scheduling. Interview times follow.
