Effective Veterans Day, November 11, retired military personnel ages 45-62 will be eligible to purchase special season tickets for reduced green fees at all five City golf courses; Auburn Hills, Sim, L.W. Clapp, MacDonald, and Tex Consolver. The Wichita Park and Recreation Department is offering this special season ticket for $100. Retired military season ticket holder green fees will be $15 for 18-holes of golf.

“We are happy to recognize our veterans and support our military personnel.” Park and Recreation Department Director Doug Kupper said.

Discussions between Colonel James C. Vechery, United States Air Force Commander, 22d Air Refueling Wing, Mayor Brewer and other City leaders prompted the City to offer the reduced rates at all five municipal courses.
