Due to a loss of electrical power, multiple traffic signals in the downtown area are not operating. The source of the outage is a Westar electrical substation that loss power after a vehicle accident. City of Wichita and Westar officials are working to resolve the outage and will issue updates accordingly. The affected intersections are four-way stops until they resume normal operations, according to state statute. Back to Top
