Walk With the Wildlife

What: 18th annual Walk With Wildlife
When: Saturday, June 8, 9 AM to 3 PM
Where: Great Plains Nature Center & Chisholm Creek Park (enter at 6232 E. 29th Street North
Cost: $2 per person at the gate

This annual event allows visitors of all ages a chance to view live native Kansas wildlife including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and insects. This is a great activity for families, youth groups, photographers and wildlife enthusiasts of all ages. Food concessions will be available and all facilities are wheelchair accessible.

A Kids Fishing Clinic, sponsored by The Wichita Eagle, Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, and Flatland Flyfishers will be offered for kids 12 and under. Registration will take place at the Walk With Wildlife.

Admission for the 18th annual Walk With Wildlife is $2 per person at the gate.  For more information, call the Great Plains Nature Center at 683-5499.
