What: Celebrate Summer 2002 Family Picnic/Playday
When: Saturday, June 8, 10 AM to 6 PM
Where: Evergreen Park, 2700 N. Woodland
Cost: Free
Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets, and grills and come and enjoy this summer kickoff event at Evergreen Park. Enjoy live bands, break dancing groups, children’s activities, family games, Latin dance groups, tug-of-war, carnival booths, contests, exhibits, information booths, water games, prizes, swimming and more. There will be something for the entire family.
Parents can complete a survey and receive a free pass for their children to swim at the Evergreen swimming pool. The event is sponsored by the Regional Prevention Center, Wichita Public Schools and the City of Wichita.
