What: Second Annual Celebration of Peace
When: 5 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10
Where: City Hall, 1^st Floor Lobby

Wichita’s second annual Celebration of Peace will take place Tuesday, Dec. 10. Mayor Bob Knight will present opening remarks. Special guest include:

East High School French String Quartet

Heights High School French Carolers

Wilbur Middle School Spanish Carolers

After the performances, there will be the official lighting of the Mayor’s Holiday Tree with a reception immediately following.

The celebration is sponsored by Wichita Area Sister Cities, Inc. Ornaments were provided by the Hyde International Studies/Community Magnet Elementary and Curtis Middle School students. Prairie Pines Christmas Tree Farm donated the tree.
