Airline passenger traffic at Wichita Mid-Continent Airport (ICT) increased 5.09% in October over last year, with 138,044 total passengers compared to 131,352 in 2009.
Total traffic is up 2.86% for the year, with nearly 1.3 million passengers through October. The October report marks three consecutive months of increased airline passenger traffic for the airport.
Nearly every airline at ICT experienced an increase in October. AirTran Airways was up 37% compared to the same month last year; Frontier, 27%; United, 14%. The busiest airline was Delta, followed closely by United and American. AirTran, Continental, Allegiant and Frontier followed in order of traffic.
