Approximately 200 customers will be temporarily without water this afternoon near the 1900 block of South Rock Road, following a water main break, Public Works & Utilities officials said on Thursday.
Crews are currently making repairs to the water main and expect to have water service restored later today. A 12-inch water main was determined to be leaking in the sidewalk earlier today. The cause of the water main break is unknown at this time. The main was installed in the early 1970s.
