Wichita Park & Recreation is hosting a communitywide ZUMBA Ballpark Party Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Lawrence Dumont Stadium, 300S. Sycamore St. This free event is for all ages and encourages a fun atmosphere for health and wellness.
“We are offering ZUMBA in the Ballpark not only to encourage inpiduals to get up and get moving, but also enjoy a great workout outdoors in a different environment that they may not be used to working out in, said Greg Olmer, Recreation Superintendent. “The weather has been beautiful and the ballpark is a perfect outdoor atmosphere to bring people together and host one of the most popular dance fitness classes”.
Two Certified ZUMBA instructors from Park & Recreation will lead the Latin dance steps and other moves during a fast-paced, rhythmic workout to surely sculpt and shape your body. This workout is designed for all skill levels from beginners to advance. You will be able to move at your own pace go while you dance your way into shape. Bring water and a towel and a friend.
