It's official! The local child care licensing office has moved to the 7th floor at City Hall! We are set up and enjoyng our new space! Our office is on the 7th floor. If you need assistance or plan on coming to our office for any reason, please call first. To visit City Hall you may park in the small parking lot at a meter on the south side or you can utilize the public parking lot for a small fee. The parking attendant will issue a ticket to you upon entry. You are required to wear a face mask and maintain atleast 6 feet between yourself and others while in the building. You will have to go through a security check. There is an information desk on the first floor where you will check in. A child care licensing staff person will come down to assist you. As always, if you need information or assistance please feel free to call or email your surveyor (see contact information above). If we are unable to take your call, leave a message and we will get back with you as soon as possible.
Need training hours? The child care licensing surveyors for Sedgwick County, offer professional development hours twice per month. There are two options, a face to face class or an on-line class every month. Preregistration is required. Enrollment is limited. For face to face classes, masks are required. All attendees will be seated 6 feet apart from others. Any person with symptoms such as a fever, will not be allowed to attend.
