City of Wichita > Historic Preservation
The Historic Preservation Office provides staff support to the Historic Preservation Board, whose job it is to provide design review for these properties, and assist property owners with listing new properties. The office also provides information regarding financial incentives for historic property owners and general technical assistance regarding appropriate maintenance procedures for historic buildings.

Historic Preservation Alliance of Wichita & Sedgwick County
HPA is a nonprofit corporation which works to develop public participation in historic preservation, to provide community education in significant areas of local history and to insure the preservation of Wichita and Sedgwick Co. historic landmarks. It depends upon membership dues and donations for support.
