Brooks Construction & Demolition Landfill at K-96 and West Street will be closed on Saturday, March 28.
More than a foot of snow is forecast, which would make access to dumping points very difficult. Also, landfill traffic is expected to be very light due to street and work site conditions.
Herzog Environmental, the landfill operator, will bring in crews for snow removal when snow stops.
Brooks Landfill is expected to be open for business on Monday.
