Wichita Police Department Professional Assessment

On May 05, 2022, the City of Wichita issued a Request for Proposal for an independent, professional assessment of the Wichita Police Department's culture, administrative policies and practices, standards of conduct, and efforts to ensure bias-free policing, as well as the processes the Citizens' Review Board uses to review complaints against WPD personnel.

The proposal submitted by Jensen Hughes was selected. Jensen Hughes has led, planned, and implemented many of the most comprehensive transformation initiatives over the past three decades. After completing multiple interviews, observations, meetings, document reviews, and surveys, Jensen Hughes submitted their final report on March 10, 2023.
