​Currently Open/Opening Soon

The following will remain open with some limitations:

  • CityArts is open to the public for classes and gallery viewing 7 days a week, normal hours.
  • City Council meetings will continue as scheduled. However, agendas will be limited to essential business items.
  • Transit bus routes will continue to operate on a normal schedule.
  • Brooks Landfill remains open.
  • All Public Golf Courses are open.
  • The City Prosecutor’s Office is open but has temporarily suspended in-person walk-in hours. Please use prosecutor@wichita.gov to discuss citations and ask questions on other matters. You can also call 268-4569, select Option 5, then press 1.
  • Wichita Public Library locations are open for in-person browsing, public computing and Wi-Fi service.

City Council, Board & Committee Meetings

In-person public attendance is limited for the City Council, District Advisory Boards, and Metropolitan Area Planning Commission meetings. For the most up-to-date information, including virtual meeting links and options for submitting comment, please visit the respective City Council, individual district, and the MAPC web pages.
