The Wichita Sedgwick County Community Action Partnership (WSCCAP knows that the changes in our economy with COVID-19 has thrown us a curve ball, Job loss, disaster, medical issue or other crisis can really knock you off your feet – even if only for a moment.
Before you know it, you’re behind on your rent or utilities or you can’t buy food or clothes for your family. But WSCCAP is here to help. We will help clients secure necessities to stay in their homes and move past the initial crisis.
This new EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM is to assist Sedgwick County residents impacted by COVID-19 with rental and utility payment assistance and foreclosure counseling. Eligibility requirements are: financial hardship due to COVID-19, meet federal income guidelines, reside in Sedgwick County.
As of July 8, 2020 we are currently offering assistance for Utilities only at this time.

- Transportation (public transit, bus passes, etc.)
