Wichita City Council members are scheduled to attend three Downtown Master Plan workshops on Wednesday at Bank of America Theatre, 100 N. Broadway.

The workshops will focus on specific issues but include general discussion about the upcoming master plan. The 8 to 9:30 a.m. workshop will cover developer issues; the 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., parking and transportation; and the 5:30 to 7 p.m., creating unique places. The workshops are designed to seeking additional public input for the final Downtown Master Plan, which is scheduled for release in September.

Downtown Master Plan officials have also scheduled presentations across the area to share findings of a Draft Downtown Master Plan released on Monday and seek additional public input. To schedule a presentation on the draft master plan, please contact Nancy Moore of the Wichita Downtown Development Corp. (264-6005) or Suzie Ahlstrand of Visioneering Wichita (268-1135).
