Sessions on securing government contracts, economic recovery
The Small Business Administration (SBA) is hosting a workshop that focuses on government contracts and economic recovery from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday at Wichita State University Metropolitan Complex, 5015 E. 29th Street. The workshop is designed to support businesses owned by women, veterans and racial and ethnic minorities.
Representatives from several agencies and organizations that support businesses are scheduled to assist the SBA including the City of Wichita Purchasing Office, Sedgwick County, Wichita Public Schools, Kansas Small Business Development Center, South Central Kansas Economic Development District, SCORE Counselors of America and the State of Kansas.
Scheduled presentations include topics on economic recovery incentives, how to do business with government agencies and successful contracting strategies.
