“We know there are people suffering from lack of income to meet their housing needs,” said Mary K. Vaughn, Director of the Housing and Community Services, which is administering the funds. “So far, this assistance has helped 62 households. It could be the difference that keeps a family or a person off the streets.”
Recipients who have benefited from the program are available to talk to the media upon request. Please contact Vaughn at 462-3795.
The HPRP program is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
