Public invited to buy original art, support local artists
CityArts is hosting its Annual Garage Sale from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. this Saturday at 334 N. Mead.
More than 30 local and regional artists will have booths set up throughout CityArts to offer a variety of items for sale, including handmade jewelry, art books, art supplies, paintings, ceramics, decorative items and more. Only cash and checks will be accepted. All proceeds from the sales will stay with the individual artists.

CityArts is a center for the arts that provides education, information and opportunities to the citizens, youth and special populations in the community. In addition to rotating art exhibits that are housed in its four galleries, CityArts offers classes for both children and adults. The classes cover a variety of areas such as digital photography, computer arts, painting, drawing, pottery, silversmithing, fiber and glass arts.
