Neighborhood City Halls (NCH) will host community parties as part of National Night Out 2010. Following are specifics about times, locations and activities.
- Atwater Neighborhood City Hall (District I) will host a party from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday at Fairmount Park, 1647 N. Yale. Events include games, music, food and prizes as well as giveaways of school supplies and kindergarten readiness resource bags.
- Colvin Neighborhood City Hall (District III) will host a party from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, at the tennis courts in Planeview Park, 2820 S. Roosevelt. Events include a farmer’s market, games, prizes and face-painting. There will also be door prizes and giveaways.
- Stanley Neighborhood City Hall (District IV) will host a party from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Aley Park, 1803 S. Seneca. Events and offerings include live bands, face-painting, free hot dogs and snow cones and other games.
- Evergreen Neighborhood City Hall (District VI) will host a party from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Evergreen Park, 2700 N. Woodland. Events and offerings include free hamburgers, swimming, a talent show, music and a dance presentation by ZUMBA and Folkloric.
Other related events include: National Night Out with the NBC Tournament on Saturday at Lawrence Dumont Stadium, where there will be a fireworks show; and Family Zoo Day on Sunday at Sedgwick County Zoo, where visitors will receive $3 off the general admission price.
