Information on weekend events
The Dave Matthews Band will be performing Saturday night at the INTRUST Bank Arena. All of the City-owned parking lots and many of the privately leased lots will be available. Parking in Lots A-D will be $8. Lot A is the State Office Building parking garage located at William and Emporia. Lot B is located at Broadway and William. Lot C can be found at Lewis and Emporia and Lot D is southeast of the Arena on Waterman. The private lots available are within three blocks of the arena.
Due to the National Baseball Congress World Series occurring at Lawrence Dumont Stadium, parking and shuttle services will not be available from that parking lot. The shuttles will be running through Old Town and to Exploration Place. Free parking is also available at the Gander Mountain Garage just north of Kellogg on Main. The Q-line picks up on Waterman.
There will be a street closure on St. Francis north of the arena Saturday night, please plan alternate routes if necessary.
“We encourage people to visit www.parkdowntown.org to make parking plans before attending downtown events.” said Mandy Pankratz, City of Wichita Parking Coordinator. “The Wichita Downtown Development Corporation continues to update the site with the latest parking information.”
