In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, City of Wichita facilities will be closed Monday, Jan. 17. The facilities included Wichita Public Library branches, Neighborhood City Halls, Park and Recreation Centers, CityArts, Cowtown, Century II, the Mid-America All-Indian Center, the Wichita Art Museum and Botanica.
Municipal golf courses will be open. The Animal Shelter will be open holiday hours from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Transit offices will be closed and there will be no bus service.
