The Wichita Police Department will host a spring break baseball and tennis clinic March 21 through 24 at McAdams Park and Recreation Center and the baseball and tennis courts at Wichita North High School.
The clinics are a partnership with a non-profit, Give Me A Chance To Play (GMACTP), which gives school-aged children a chance to learn baseball or tennis from local volunteers including police department members. The clinics are free and provide necessary equipment to play either sport.
The morning clinic is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 11: 30 a.m. at McAdams, 1329 E. 16th. The afternoon clinic is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. at North High School baseball field and tennis courts, 1437 N. Rochester.
