Wichita Police Officers will be conducting a DUI check lane from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m Thursday at a location to be released later.
Motorists in the area should be prepared to present their driver’s license and proof of insurance. Motorists who cannot produce these items or who are suspected of driving under the influence will be asked to pull over into another lane.
The check lane is part of the Wichita Police Department’s traffic safety efforts, which include removing drunk drivers from city streets. Officers will also be checking for other traffic infractions and seatbelt usage.
