Proposed 2012-13 Budget for DABs and Residents
City Manager Robert Layton will discuss the 2012-13 Proposed Budget with District Advisory Boards members an residents at 6 p.m. on June 29 in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 455 N. Main.
The City Manager’s presentation will feature a question-and-answer session. City Department Heads will provide additional information as needed. Residents watching the presentation live on Cox Cable Channel 7 can email budget questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. Residents are encouraged to ask and email questions related to the proposed budget.
The City Manager’s budget presentation follows several City Council Workshops where elected officials were provided budget and supplemental information. The meetings are designed to enhance transparency and community feedback related to the annual budget process. After hearing from residents and stakeholders, the City Manager will present his completed budget proposal on July 12. The City Council is scheduled to officially adopt the 2012 budget at its Aug. 9 meeting.
