Special Holiday Hours
Wichita Park and Recreation Department swimming pools will be open 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, July 4. However the College Hill Pool will be open 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. City pools are usually closed Mondays but due to the holiday they will be open.
Pool admission will follow the regular price schedule:
- Children 17 and under - $2
- Adults 18 and older - $3
- Family pass - $8 (includes six family members, one family member must be an adult.)
The Park and Recreation Department supports nine recreation centers, 11 swimming pools, 52 athletic fields, five golf courses, eight interactive fountains, numerous adult and youth-based activities & athletics programs and 2,407 acres of rights-of-way.
